Home Care Assistants

Delta Care Ltd is a CQC registered provider of Care and Support services to individuals within Preston, Chorley, Southport, Blackpool, Macclesfield, and Trafford. We also have a Residential Care Home in Brierfield, Nelson.

Delta Care Ltd are offering work on a permanent or temporary basis across all surrounding areas of BLACKPOOL, BISPHAM, NORTH SHORE, LAYTON, CLEVELEYS, THORNTON & MORE! With many full-time and part-time positions available to you.

The role is community-based, providing support and care to individuals in their own homes to enable them to live safely and independently. This will also consist of providing personal care, medication assistance, and meal preparation.

No previous experience is required as we do offer full training!

Our New & Improved Rate of Pay:
Monday to Friday - £10.10
Saturday to Sunday- £10.30

(0.20p Performance Bonus Included)

Mileage pay - 30p (per mile)

Our Shifts:
Mornings 7am -2pm
Evenings 3pm -10pm

Job Description:

· To read and follow the individualized care plan.

· To assist Service Users with getting in and out of bed.

· To provide assistance with washing/bathing and dressing (Including washing hair, body, teeth, etc.)

· To prepare meals, drinks, and snacks, as and when necessary.

· To provide assistance with toileting and changing clothes, as and when necessary.

· To provide assistance with daily living tasks, including cleaning, shopping, and paying finances.

· To monitor the health of the Service User and to report any changes to the Registered Care Manager.

· To encourage Service Users towards a degree of independence and activity appropriate to their ability.

· Log in and out of Service User's homes.

· To adhere by Delta Care Ltd Health and Safety policies.

· To complete medication records and care sheets.
